The Old Man and a friend were out on a farm yard moving an old car, and they both suddenly started hauling tail. I was sitting in our truck watching this and looking puzzled- They were franticly climbing a hay bale looking so terrified. I caught a sudden movement out of the corner of my eye and noticed three fluffy little baby stinkers and a big fat mommy skunk were waddling their way across the grass, swishing their hind ends! The guys were screaming in terror (screaming!), cursing up a blue streak and I had tears running down my cheeks I was laughing so hard! They didn't seem to think it was funny as I was shouting at them that they were afraid of babies! Thankfully no one had gotten sprayed, and after mom and tots wandered off into a field the guys came off of their perch and rushed to finish the job they had started- in record time! Needless to say- give skunks the right of way!
